The Church of the Disciples of Christ in Congo (CDCC) grew out of the mission of the American Christian Church Disciples of Christ and became independent in 1964. The church has been associated with the UEM since 1979.

The church territory is located in the equatorial region of Congo east of Mbandaka. The CDCC is divided into 20 church districts with a total of 324 congregations. About 750,000 members belong to the church.

The CDCC is working primarily in the areas of mission, evangelism, education, especially in the training of theologians and administrative staff, as well as in children's, women's and youth work.
